Access macro Import txt file makes zipcodes numeric losing lead 0

I'm importing a txt generated file into a pre defined table in Access. When
I manually use the import wizard it works fine. When I try to setup a Macro
using transfertext it treats my zip code field like numeric and I loose the
leading 0 or it passes over any data with the hyphen. I not sure how to
setup a specification name for the import.

Check that the zipcode field in the table has Text as the data type. If it's
a number, leading 0 will be stripped off.

If you need to create and import specification, start a manul import. At the
first dialog window of the Import Text Wizard, go to the Advanced button in
the lower left of the window. Remember to save you work to a name that you
can remember. Use the import spec in the macro.
