Access is denied

i have a problem in my workgroup network (winxp) when i try to connect to
some computer the "access is denied" message appeare , and i do the following
setps to solve it but no way :
1-ensure that the Simple File Sharing is enabled
2-Import setup security.inf policy in local security policy
3-ensure that the guest account is enabled
4-under Network access: Sharing and security model" set to "Guest only"
5-remove guest from "Deny access to this computer from the network"
6-add everyone to "Access this computer from the network"
7-no password for guest
8-no firewall is run

can any one help me

u need to logon using an account with the same user name and password on
both machines to access resources.

perhaps there are simply no access rights on the folder.
Remember, you need two types of access rights, one for the
object (folder, file, printer) and one for the share.
