Access Internet DLINK

Hi there,

I have 2 Pcs (Win2k + Win98) plugged on a DLink with Hight Speed Internet
Connection.
All was working perfectly since I uninstall VirusScan 6 from Win2K.
Now I'm unable to connect to the Internet.
File sharing between the 2 Pcs is working, so I assume it's not a
connectivity problem !
Win 98 connect to Internet, so no router misconfiguration !

ipconfig return a message " .. no adapter ... bound TCP " or something else.

Can anybody help me ?

Internet Protocol(TCP/IP) will need to be bound to the connection. Control
Panel|Network|"connection"|Properties|General

From a command prompt;
ipconfig /all
may reveal something.

| Can you be more specific ?
| TCP/IP is already installed and checked

Well if that's all you get then something is amiss.

Can you ping the dns server ip addresses? What happens if you browse by ip
address? http://216.239.39.99/ It's also possible that virusscan left an
entry in your hosts file that redirects 127.0.0.1 to other than localhost
Also check IE|Tools|Internet Options|Connections|Lan Settings|Proxy Server
is not checked.
