How do I delete a custom input mask that I created? i no longer want to it

Goto your object's design view / property sheet and clear the Input Mask?

Hi - I don't want to remove the input mask from the field, but from the box
that appears via the INput Mask Wizard offering choices of input masks. I
want to remove a custom input mask that i created.

Me, too. I'm a trainer and I want to clear out what the students build.

If you really want to delete them, in 97 find the file called wztools80.mde.
The input masks are stored in a table named im_TblInputMask

In later versions, the file is named acwzusrt.mdt

I don't recall. It was about 4 or 5 years ago when I was doing training in
Access 97, and has the same problem. I probably snooped around until I
found them. <g>
