ACCESS HAS BEEN DENIED Banned phrase found

I have done something to my computer and it has banned a couple of sites. I get this message and then "You are seeing this error because the page you attempted
to access contains, or is labeled as containing, material that
has been deemed inappropriate. " Also, "If you have any queries contact your ICT Co-ordinator or Network Manager."

Where do I go to change this? I have been in the internet connections and in the content area and specifically allowed the sites that I can't access. Also, when I try to access the site (these are hotel sites) through Expedia.com, it bans those pages that contain the name of the hotel.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Is this from work or school, or are you connecting from home? If from
work or school, they are probably implementing censorware or a censor
service to restrict their employees or students from visiting sites that
at categorized such that have nothing to do with your work or your
company. One such censor service is Websense.

Why didn't you then contact your IS/IT department to inquire about why
you are getting blocked on this questionable site? Although they may
permit you to navigate to expedia.com, that doesn't automatically give
you permission to visit some other domain just because the allowed site
has links elsewhere.

This is my home computer. Just a few days ago I could access these
sites. By the way, I used to work for The Vanguard Group. Do you
work there? Nesha

If this is from your own home computer, have you contacted your ISP to
find out if they are implementing some censorship? Are you connecting
from home to work using a VPN so despite using your ISP you are really
using your company's network and thus susceptible to any filtering they
employ?

What did you install and thereafter encounter this problem? Tried
disabling your firewall? Tried using msconfig.exe to disable startup
programs, reboot, and check if the problem still occurs?

Have you yet ran a full scan using a recently updated anti-virus
program? Have you ran Ad-Aware, Spybot, and CWShredder to check for
spyware/malware? If those don't find anything, use HijackThis and post
a copy of its logfile to that forum or to one of the security or spyware
newsgroups.
