access files in _private directory after publishing the site?

I have published our web site...now I'm trying to access the _private
directory from the Internet site. However, I keep getting a request for a
Username and Password. I use the one for uploading the web site to the
server...but it will not work. What am I supposed to use to get to those
files? How do I download the information in those files?

Thanks for any assistance you can give me.
 
You need to enter your FP user ID and password, or just open the online site in FP
