ACCESS ERROR - URGENT

One of the entries in our database was accidentally recoded. When we tried
to change the name back to it's appropriate title, we received an error
message that read "Reserved error -1601".

What does this mean, and how can we get the entry back to the way it should
be?

Further to Krizhek's answer: if you haven't been taking regular backups
of your database file, now would be the time to start!
