Hi,you have probably known that there is a REAL built-in administrator who
pulls the strings, not you (sorry), which is why sometimes the computer said
you didn't have the admin.previleges to go on. I can show you how to Enable
the real built-in admin. and use it to do what you wanted.:
1.) Start menu. Type cmd on the search box. The cmd program will show up
at the top, right click on that.
2.) click Run As Administrator, click Continue on the prompt.
3.) a black and white window will appear. Type net user administrator
/active:yes ( notice there is space between net, user, administrator, / )
Press Enter key.
4. ) the screen will tell if the request is successful or not. If not,
re-type again, watch for spacing between words.
5) if successful, close the b/w window, LOG-OFF and restart.
6.) after re-start, you'll see an Administrator acct. next to yours and
other user accts. Click that Admin. acct.
7.) the system will start setting up the desktop for the new Admin.acct.,
after that you can use it the way you want. Make sure you give this acct. a
password because it can do ANYTHING.
8.) if you don't want it afterwards, repeat the procedures, except type
active:no instead of active:yes.
Please inform me of your progress. Good luck.
