Access Denied

I have an XP Home Ed system with 2 HDD. i backed up all my data file to HDD
No.2 and reformatted HDD 1 and reloaded XP Home Ed. Now some of the folders
on HDD No.2 say Start Menu D:\Backup is not accessible. Acess is Denied. The
drive is fine and i can get to other folders - just not the real important
ones. Would really appreciate any ideas to fix this.

In XP Home you have to boot in safe mode to see the security tab. In XP Pro
you have to disable simple file sharing.
