After running a Norton virus scan and Norton deleting the W32.Korgo.V virus
from one of the workgroup computers, the other workgroup computers cannot
access it any longer. The message: (computer name) is not accessable. You may
not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator,
etc., etc. Access is denied.
This computer can still access all the other computers in the workgroup but
they cannot access it.
The OS is WinXP and I have tried everything I could think of. Any and all
help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Denny

Denny,

some viruses do damage, so perhaps your second last resort is a
repair installation of Windows XP.

But you can try http://www.michna.com/kb/wxnet.htm first.

Try one thing that worked for me:
Run Regedit
then go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa
click on RestrictAnonymous set value to 0 if it is not already 0
Exit
Reboot
See if it helps.
