access denied to adding favorites to the favorites file

I can''t add favorites to Microsoft Internet Explorer. I get message saying
Access Denied. Does anyone know how I can repair this problem. Thanks for the
help. Hopeful

Favorites folder is present in the following location by default.

%userprofile%\favorites

Make sure that your user account has Full control over the favorites folder.
