Access Denied: Login With Admin Privileges Error

Guest

When attempting to load several EA games (Need for Speed, Harry Potter,
etc.) I get the "Access Denied: Please Login With Admin Privileges and Try
Again" error, even though I am logged in as the Admin. I have tried logging
in
under Safe Mode (as the Administrator) and I continue to get the same error.
I can succesfully load the software on other PC's - I have (one with XP Pro
and the other with XP Home). I can load other software on the problem PC
(Adobe CS for eg.) and I have been able to load one of the 4 EA Harry Potter
games (I think is the most recent of the 4 my son has).

I have spent the better part of a day on the phone with Dell and combing the
net and user groups for any clues, no luck so far so any assistance will be
greatly appreciated.

Hi Ted,

Ea had a (Sims2) patch for this type of issue, which they've since removed:
http://thesims2.ea.com/update/exe/release/1.0.0.994/thesims2_update.exe

Perhaps you'll need to contact EA Games directly for this issue, since it's
affecting their titles: http://support.ea.com
