my dimension 4400 took a crap... so i re-installed XP. to
be "safe," so i thought, i created a new WINDOWS directory
(WINDOWS2) assuming it would keep all my files intact.

with this new installation, i lost access to the "My
Documents" folders of all the users from the older
installation. please note that i have access to
everything else under each of those old users.

when i click on the "My Document" folder, it says "Access
is denied." i had over 1500 pictures in there.... so...
is there way i can get them back? is there anyway i can
log on as one of the "old" users?

please reply directly to my e-mail account
<[email protected]>.

thanks, kiko

If you log into the machine with the Admin account, then right-click those
folders can you check/adjust as necessary the security tab settings for
the folders?
