access DC2120 tape, copy to CD

Hugh N. Ross

I need to retrieve some information from backup tapes that were written on
DC2120 cartridges by the Arcada backup program several years ago. I am using
XP Pro. I have three tape drives but cannot find XP drivers for any of them.
The drives are: Exabyte Eagle TR-3, and Conner CTM420R-F that connect to the
floppy interface. Also a Microsolutions backpack 800TD #143010 that attaches
to the printer port. Does anyone know where I can get drivers and a reader
program for any of these drives and tapes?
Help would be appreciated. Hugh

Not for Windows XP, but many of the flavors of Linux still use/have tape
drivers - you could duel boot, dump all your tape data to a common disk
formatted in FAT or FAT32 and when you're done, do away with the Linux
setup.
