Access DB Form View all of the items on list box are displayed

I have never created an Access DB Form so please bare with me. I have created
list boxes to allow user to select from a drop-down list, however, all of the
items on list box are displayed in the form view. Please help the confused

If I understand what you want versus what you're getting, you don't want
a list box. Rather, you want a "Combo Box". It is the latter that drops down
when it gets the focus and retracts when it looses the focus. (One can also
cause the combo box to drop and retract from code.)
