access db causes access not to respond

my access db which holds our ranch cattle inventory was working fine when I
completed the new entries and turned off the computer and next morning it
would not open causes Access not to respond and the db is disabled, please
can anyone help to fix this
 
Did you turn off the computer before closing the Access database?
