Access control list

I have just installed a d-link router to the host computer and a belkin wieless card to the second PC. I have been on the telephone to both companies who have tested each pc. I cannot connect to the internet on the second PC. It keeps coming up with Access denied by access control panel. I have good signal strengh on both and can access the shared files and printer but no connection.

I have tried various helpsites but do not know what could be wrong. Could anyone help?

I had a similar problem with a client a couple of weeks
ago, though he was using windows 98, but all his problems
started after downloading some updates from windows
update site. Have you installed any updates recently?
have you tried removing them or a sytem restore to a time
before the problems started?
