Access 97 under windows xp

I'm using access 97 with widows xp, and I noticed that
when I open any MDB, big or small, the CPU move to 100%.

When I open the same MDB with Access 2003 I don't get the
same effect.

Has any one have a solution, how to get the CPU usage down.

Nothing to worry about. While it may look as though Access 97 is a resource
hog, it actually releases resources to any other process without issue. It
was fixed in Access 2000. See the following for more details:
