I've created a small Access97 database. In looking at the file size under
File/Properties the database is reported as having 1.9Mb (1,146,880 bytes).
With a bit of experimentation (adding dummy records) I have found that file
sizes above 1.1MB (to 1.2Mb) are reported correctly. It appears that the
leading zeros are being stripped off the fractional part e.g. 1.09Mb is
reported as 1.9 Mb. I've not gone above 1.2Mb so I can't say if the error
occurs for, say, 2.09Mb.
I've seen no reports of this but may be using the wrong search terms for a
Google search.
