access 97 database won't open

I created a database using access 97. Now it won't open. It shows in the my
computer list and in the recent database list. It just won't open.
 
* Did you get any error message when you tried to open the database?

* Just in case you have set the StartUp options incorrectly, hold the Shift
key down while you are opening the database. You should normally see the
Database Containers window if it is opened OK.
