Access 97 application under Windows Vista

Hello,

I have a database application that runs with the runtime version of Access
97. I noticed that when I install the application under Windows Vista, I have
to right click its shortcut and select Run as administartor in order to get
it to work.

Is there any way I could avoid this from happening by properly configuring
the installation package?(perhaps creating a shortcut with Run as
administrator option checked or with a manifest file)

Thanks in advance

This is a shot in the dark. Perhaps use Registry Virtualization:

Wow. There's lots of information about the registry nearby. I have
some reading to do.
