Access 97 and Excel 2000

We have just moved to Excel 2000 but continue to use
Access 97. A lot of our Access applications use the
transferspreadsheet method of the docmd object. One of
the intrinsic constants is spreadsheettype. The last
constant listed is 8 (acSpreadsheetTypeExcel97). Is there
a way to get this method to work with Excel 2000 (like
maybe a download exists to update the available intrinsic
constants)?

Const acSpreadsheetTypeExcel9 = 8
