Joe needing help

My tables are all opening up with the filter option already on. I need to
shit the filter off but the clear all filters is dimmed out and it won't let
me clear the filter.
This is a new installation of 2007. It is doing this to all my tables in
all my databases. It looks like it is somewhere in Access it self.
Can anyone help me get it to where I can remove or add filters as I
determine????

Hi Joe,

You can try this:

Goto top left buttom, Microsoft symbol click and choose Acess Options,
then choose Current Database
at the bottom there is Filter lookup for ......

Click on Local indexed files & Local nonindexed files.

See if that helps you.

KBDB I tried that and it didn't get rid of the filter nor did it bring back
the option to remove filters in the menu. Thanks for trying.
