Access 2007 ODBC Connection Failed

Hello, I built a database in Access 2007. The company recently
switched from
Access 2000. I build a ODBC connection into a view only SQL database
(done
many times previously in 2000) and built my database. When completed I
went
over to a co-workers computer to show the new database. When I opened
the
database on the co-workers computer I got ODBC --connection to
'servername'
failed. So I opened up the database (on the co-workers computer) and
updated
the linked tables. Once I did that it worked really well. So I went
back to
my machine and when I opened up the database I got the error ODBC
--connection to 'servername' failed. Has anyone else seen this issue
that it
will not connect on multiple computers? Any ideas?

I add a routine that reconnects the links when the app starts.

Yes, I did try that. The issue is I am linking to aprox 20 tables on
a sql server (with view only access). That takes about 10 minutes to
refresh the tables. It also only allows one user to view access at a
time. When another co-worker wants to get into access there can be no
one in the database and they have to refresh the tables again (wait
another 10 minutes) then they and only that person can get that data.
I need multiple people to be able to view and get the data. Any
ideas? Thank you for the help.
