Access 2007 Ctrl-Colon Rich Text Question

Hi All

I would love to use the new rich text field of Access 2007 but there
seems to be a problem when I try to use a rich text and use the
Ctrl Colon insert date

In the plain text version of a Memo field you can easily add a date by
pressing Ctrl+Colon which makes life easy for the end user.

However, if the Memo field is set to the Rich Text Property this no
longer works. Or am I missing something?

I have a feeling that this is just not possible, so is there a way to write a

routine that inserts the date with a keystroke.

Please stop multiposting.

The problem is that not many developers are working with A2007 yet.
You will have to handle the insertion of the date yourself as I believe
someone has already stated to you in one of your other posts scattered
across the NG's. What have you tried so far?

Thanks for the welcome

Use a little common sense. You want your questions answered. If you
annoy the potential respondees to your question by multiposting you
won't get your questions answered.

Now you show yourself to be ungrateful for good advice.

That's two strikes, which probably puts you on the edge of dropping
into a number of people's killfiles.

So far, this doesn't look to me to be a very good plan for seeking
advice.

OMG.........You cannot be serious...lighten up

I really do not want to get into this but if you do not want to help, just
ignore it. There are plenty of people that do, and they make the world a good
place to be

As for the remark about multiposting, I have never been on this forum before,
and after todays experience won't again. Although I will admit to posting a
similar question to another forum, if that is what you mean by multiposting.
Sorry if you find that so upsetting.
