Access 2007 and SQL Server Decimal Datatype

A

AG

Access 2007 FE with SQL Server 2005 BE.
It has been recommended to me in a SQL Server newsgroup to use decimal
datatype instead of money for monetary fields due to rounding errors when
using money (currency).

I seem to remember something from a while ago about Access having some
problem with decimal datatypes, but can't remember details or find more
info.

Does anyone know of any problem with Access and decimal datatypes?

Thanks,

M

Hi Customer,

This is Mark, a SQL Server engineer. I'm glad to assist you with the issue.

I agree with allen.

There is an article to share with you to introduce the feature of access
2007: http://www.allenbrowne.com/Access2007.html

If you have any questions when using access, welcome to post them here.

Best regards,

non-urgent issues where an initial response from the community

Please note that each follow up response may take approximately
2 business days as the support professional working with you may
need further investigation to reach the most efficient resolution.
The offering is not appropriate for situations
