I keep getting a error that says I have too many fields defined. The think
is I am using the same data fields of my 2006 data base as for the new data
base so this does not make any sense. Help!

2006 database???

Each Table is limited to 255 Fields but that's at least 200 Fields more than
expected in any properly normalized database ...

If in the Design session of the Table you delete some Fields, the Field
count is not reduced ... You may need to close the Design view, save the
Table, Repair & Compact (???) the database and then open the Design view
again to reset the Field count.

But like I wrote in the first paragraph, this limit of 255 should NEVER come
into play ...
