Access 2003

I am currently using Access 2000.
Next month, we are up-grading to Access 2003. I use this program a lot and
would like to buy a good reference book. Can anyone suggest a good book that
is easy to understand for this program and/or the rest of the MS 2003 office
programs? Also, are there any problems with Access 2000 files converting to
Access 2003?

Aurora,

I currently use Access 2003 and my personal favorite reference is "Access
2000 Developer's Handbook" through Sybex publishing. A good reference book
for 2003 specifically would be "Microsoft Office Access 2003 Inside Out"
through Microsoft Publishing. I personally like the 2000 Handbook better
because it's NOT written by Microsoft. They tell you where the shortcomings
are and what to avoid, whereas the MS book won't. Both are good books though
and I would recommend getting both.
