Access 2000 v Access 2003

Neil Greenough

I am looking to buy a book to help me with designing databases using MS
Access. I am currently using MS Access 2000, nonetheless in the new year, I
will be upgrading to MS Access 2003.

My question is, would it be better to wait and get a book which refers to
Access 2003 or are the features almost identical?

Thanks

Unless you'll be using XML or heavy Web interaction, there's very
little new in 2003. In fact A2003 uses A2000 as the default database
format.

Buy the 2003 book. Most features you usually use will be the same except for
XML / Web support as John mentioned.

When you upgrade, the book will be current and more useful to you.
