Access 2003 stability and Windows XP x64

When I'm developing apps with Access 2003 on a machine with Windows XP Pro
x64, it crashes regularly with a rather meaningless error about an illegal
operation and options of abort, ignore, debug. Regardless of the choice,
access just shuts down.

Anyone else have this experience?
