Access 2003: Restoring DESIGN VIEW (after removing) for database

By using TOOLS/DATABASE UTILITIES/SWITCHBOARD MANAGER on my new database that
was still in development mode and to investigate controls on what a user
could and could not eventually access (in the ultimate finished product), I
am now no longer to make changes to my DATABASE DESIGN as the restrictions
have worked, but I myself cannot make changes/additions (e.g. reports,
queries, forms, tables, etc) as I no longer have the menu options when I open
this database. How can I restore this closed database (which now contains
valid test data) such that I can make structure changes etc?

Try holding down the Shift key when you open the database.

You should then be able to get to the Tools menu and change the Startup
options again.
