Access 2003 report headers

Is there a way to suppress extra lines between a report header and the
detail? The report header displays company information and the detail
displays people information. I have the header setup to suppress blank lines
(second address line, for example). However, while it suppresses the lines
within the header data, it doesn't suppress the lines between the header and
the detail. Consequently, there is too much space between the header and
detail if the header has suppressed lines. Thanks!

Set the control's AND the Report Header's CanShrink properties to Yes.
As long as no other control is on that same line, the Header will
shrink (and the next section will move up).

Presumably you have set the Can Shrink property of the text boxes to Yes.
Did you also set the Can Shrink property of the Report Header section to
Yes?

That should work unless:
- There is something else (a label or text box) beside the box you want to
shrink, or overlapping it vertically.
- The controls do not contain a Null (e.g. they contain a zero-length string
or a space).
- You are using the Page Header, which will not shrink like the Report
Header does.
