Changing the height of a page header

Hello .. I am having a problem changing the height of a page header ...
there is too much white space between it and the detail lines and when I
drag the detail line bar up, it bounces back. I tried changing the height
in the Page Header property, but it doesn't take.

Any help would be most appreciated.

If you tried dragging the detail bar up and it 'bounced' back I would
expect that you have a line control hidden just above the detail bar.
Try dragging the bar down (instead of up). See if there is a control
just at that point.

Thank you Fred for your response ... I did as you suggested at work today
(that's where the database is .. I now have a copy at home) ..
unfortunately there were no hidden controls ... I guess I could try
re-doing the report, but really don't want to have to do that ...

Actually I did re-create the report .. it didn't take very long and it works
.... looks exactly the same design, but its better because it works ...

I am missing something, in the original report.

Thank you Fred for your response ... I did as you suggested at work today
(that's where the database is .. I now have a copy at home) ..
unfortunately there were no hidden controls ... I guess I could try
re-doing the report, but really don't want to have to do that ...
