Access 2003 Professional needs to close (crashes) when opening co.

I am running Windows XP Professional 5.1 Service Pak 2 and Access 2003
11.6566 SP 2.

Whilst trying to upgrade my application I continually get the message
"Access needs to close" when I try to open a code module.

The first two things for fixing this problem would be to import into a
new MDB decompile or .
