Access 2003 blinking tab control

I have an odd problem with a tab control in Access 2003. When I mouse
over a label that is not associated with another control (i.e., you grab
a text box and the label moves with it--that kind of association), the
controls on the tab control blink (form view, not design view). There's
no code in any of the mouse events.

I can recreate the problem by creating a new database, new form,
dropping tab control on it, placing some controls on the tab control,
then dropping a label onto the tab control. I switch to form view, mouse
over the label, and the controls blink when the cursor enters and exits
the label border.

If anyone has suggestions for fixing this I would appreciate it.

Thanks in advance,
steve

This is a known bug. The best solution I've seen is to use text boxes
instead of non-associated labels. Or turn off the window themed controls
option for forms and reports under Tools>Options>Forms/reports tab.

Thanks Tom and Bill for the quick responses! Looks like I'll just
convert to text boxes.

cheers!
