Hi guys,

This question has been asked before but not answered.

2 days ago my wizards stop working. the error message is something like "MS
Access can't find the wizard. The wizard you need may be missing from the
library keys of the MS Access section of the Windows Registry. To make sure
that the wizard is in the Windows Registry, run setup to reinstall MS Access
then compile all VB modules in the database"

I reinstalled Access 2000 and recompiled as it stated but i still get the
same error mesage. Any suggestions???

note: I only have 1 verison of Access on my PC.

Hi,

Take a look at this KB article:

Wizards do not start when you try to start any of the Access 2000 wizards:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/q242218/

You can also try registering DAO360.dll.
From Start --> Run you would type the following:
regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\DAO\dao360.dll"

Note: You may need to change the path to DAO360 if this is different on your machine.

Hope that helps,

Thanks for the reply Jeff. I tried both those ideas with no luck. Is there a
way to contact Microsoft for help without having to pay?

Try updating your Access/Office application through Microsoft's OfficeUpdate site.

I believe there was some issues with this problem that were fixed with SP 1.
Continue updating until you are on Service Pack 3.
See if that solves the issue.
