Is it possible to run Access 2000 .mde file on a PC that has only Access
2007 runtime installed?

No you can't do anything with an Access 2000 mde in anything other
than Access 2000.
I would reccomend either

a) not using MDE
b) finding the original, upsizing it and make a new MDE

Thanks & Good Luck

Probably. I can open an Access 2000 MDE file on a machine with the full
version of Access 2007. Since an MDE file cannot be changed, I suspect that
it will probably work with the runtime. Keep in mind that the runtime is a
crippled version that does not have all the commands available, so they need
to be available in the database front-end interface.

Incorrect. All versions newer than 2000 can run a 2000 MDE. They just
can't create one.
