Access 2000 Link Tables - Index already exists

Dale Penndorf

I am trying to link a table into Access 2000, and I keep
getting the error "Index already exists". The table will
not link in when I get this error. This same table links
in perfectly fine when I use Access 97. Also, I can
write a pass-thru query in Access 2000 to work with the
table and that works fine.

How do I get around this "Index already exists" error in
Access 2000 so I can link to the table?

This sounds like the MDB might be corruption. Try importing all the
objects into a new MDB.
