Access 2000 - HELP!

Hi Everyone...I recently wrote a database that will be
shared by 4 users via replication. This process will
include replication to a copy of the db that resides in a
network location. This will enable our organization to
run queries from that db on our Intranet.

However, our IS Department and web master has informed me
that "queries cannot be written on the replicated server
copy" (and are insisting that this be "switched" to a
client/server environment). This is not my
understanding. Any ideas?

The Design Master is the only replica where you can make changes to the
databases design and objects.
