Access 2000 DB crashing

When trying to copy large amount of records from datasheet
view, access db struck giving status 'Copy In Progress'
and then if we try to close that window, it crashes
giving 'cannot able to read memory' error message. Any
help to overcome this issue is greatly appreciated.

Copying to where? How much RAM do you have?

Perhaps, you should consider using an Append Query instead.

Check Access Help on Append Query.

OTOH, there may be problems with your PC RAM as I have never seen this error
message in copying & pasting.
