Hi everyone, I am a SCC engineer trying to work on DB in access 2003,
the folder was given to our company from a state dept. where we have a
folder called DATA, a .mde called KAP3 (have a blue lock upon) and an
access workgroup called PSYSTEM.
The problem is the following:
1-All the .mdb inside teh DATA folder when i try to access them an
error message pops out complaining about not having permission.
2-the KAP3 file when i double click it access gets freezed with a box
where it says " the expression you entered has a function name that
xxx cant find" having only a OK button
-->pressing ok reveals an Action falied box with the following:
Macro name: AutoExec, Condition: True, Action name: RunCode,
Arguments: passww(). and it has only a "halt" button or a close
button.
whatever i choose of both i have a new error message saying "The
visual basic for applications project in the database is corrupt"
what is the matter with that DB? knowing that we cant get a new DB
anymore as we are elligible for only one copy.
I need to access this thing the soonest possible as i m to take a look
on the bill of materials of the task. so please anyone can help me
overcome this issue ??
is it possible i can gain access over the .mdb so i can see what is
going on in there and enter the prices to each of the 51 .mdb given.
Any help would be appreciated
