Access 2000 and Windows XP

A while back we installed an Access 2000 front end on a new Dell
running Windows XP and Office XP Pro. Every other installation of
this application is running on Win 2000.

The first time I tried to run it, I got an error that I don't remember
exactly but had something to do with unauthorized code, or something
like that. An answer was posted here that advised changing something
in Access, but I don't remember that advice either!!!

So if you can understand what I'm talking about, does anyone know the
change I have to make in Access 2003 to be able to run this Access
2000 application?

You can run all the last 5 versions without trouble on windows xp.

In fact, I am told that even 6 versions back to access 2.0 that came out
about 10 years ago still works.

Access 97 works well, but often gives out a license error..but there is a
fix for that.

You are using a2000...so I don't know what error you mean....but it does
work fine....

Thank you for replying Albert. Yes, I know that all older versions
work under XP, but when we first tried this app, it would not run
until some setting in Access was changed. That's what I'm trying to
figure out. I just can't remember the exact error and what we had to
change.
