Acc. 2003 - Automatic email from Data Access Page

I am not very knowledged with scripting, but i was trying to find the best
way to send a generic email that says "There has been an update" when ever a
record has been added to the DB. I would like it to send the email to the
corresoping address that the user selected from a dropdown on the D.A.P.

I was thinking along the lines of a customized button, but dont know where
to being really.

Please help.

you should be using Access Data Projects

and then you can just xp_sendmail
