absolute URL for graphics?

E

Erin Cox-Holmes

I use an email template program which I edit in frontpage, then send out
under its engine (hiImpact). I need to find a way to pursuade Frontpage
2002 to insert graphics with an absolute URL, rather than a relative
one, since the email uses pictures from my website rather than embedding
them.

I can't seem to find where to adjust this setting.

thanks,
Erin C-H

You have to link to them on the web, then when saving and respond no when FP
prompts you to save the images the embedded images to your local web.

I was afraid you'd say that.
Didn't there used to be a box you could check for "return relative URL" and if
you didn't it put the absolute in?

I am not aware of any such dialog in FP98, FP2000, FP2002 or FP2003.

You can end up with a absolute URL if you don't import images into your
current open FP, but these point to your HD.
