about slide numbering

Hi,

I have a presentation of total 150 slides. i need to do slide numbering for
all those slides. But in such a way that the numbering should skip first
three slides. Can anybody help me on this?

You can hide the number on the first three slides but the numbering won't
start at 1 on slide 3. There's no simple way to do this you would need to use
vba code or spend a lot of time manually doing it.

If you want to 'skip' the 1st three slides...

do you mean :-

(a)

I don't want to SEE any slide number on the first 3 slides,

or
(b)

Start slide number 4 as number 1

?

If it's (b), then on the file > page setup screen > there is a "start
numbering slides from X"
If it's (a), then you could manually add a text box to every slide with
<#> (insert 'slide number') in the text box.

Or if it's (a) you could put the slide number on the master slide, but cover
it over on slides 1,2 and 3, by placing something over it.
