About Send and Receive

Dear all,
I have a problem about the automatic send and receive function. I am
using Outlook 2002 and have setup a pop3 e-mail account. The items listed
below are the Send and Receive setting.

Send immediately when connected: checked
Send/Receive group: All Account
Send/Receive when: Online and Offline
Schedule an automatic send/receive : 10 minutes

The logon information is correct and "Remember password" is chosen.

However, the automatic send/receive does not work fully automatically.
Sometimes, Outlook prompts a dialog box for the password (but the password is
already in the textbox) and the save the password option shown on the dialog
box is unchecked. But when I press OK....the process goes on.

So, what should I do in order to make the process perfom automatically
without any human intervention?

Hi, Masa

I had also encountered the same problem. I just ticked the save password
option and said Ok & the problem has gone (Till now it has not prompted for
the password). So the next time it prompts you for the password do the
same.It should work.

Hi Talib,
I have tried checkong the "save the password" and press ok and it works.
However, the problem cannot be solved as the dialog box still prompts, nearly
every 2 - 3 hours. The major issue is that it stops working after the office
hour.....which any emails send to that email account cannot be forwarded. The
problem persisted for several days....
