how to get a stable dos window when i run a command from "run" ?

Click on 'Start' and in the 'Start Search' box type cmd hit enter.

Also, if you need to run administrative command from the DOS box, instead of
pressing enter you will need to:

- Right-click cmd when it appears under applications
- Click run-as administrator
- Click Confirm
