I'm having continual problems with the ABOUT BLANK
virus/spyware. HELP.

Suggest going to www.sophos.com and searching for
about:blank. Give full instructions on removal which
requires removing registry entries and booting into
command line mode to remove files. Worked for me. Good
luck.

I am also having problems with it. I paid $40 for XoftSpy,
which advertised it would clean this but no luck. When I
sent log files to them, they sent me HijackThis which
couldn't rid me of this pest either. I am still working
with them, but am losing faith.

If you send me your email address, I'll let you know if I
find any successful means to clean my system. BTW, I'm
still running Windows 98.

I'd appreciate if you are successful if you would send me
help also.

I have MS Anti-spyware installed and continually reset from aboutblank. I
would expect it to reset the registry; but apparently it does not.

Do I need to:
manually edit the registry?
buy and install another product?

Any suggestions are welcomed.
