I have no reply except to say that I have the same home page resetting problem. After resetting IE's INTERNET OPTIONS to default and clearing out my cookies and sites visited I then log off. When I log back in and restart IE, I get the same about:blank page back (There are several subwindows that briefly open up, with all but the last disappearing. That last window informs me I may have spyware, and there's a link button to click on.). I've run my spyware program (Earthlink), and it shows I've got none. The page resetting adventure just started tonight. Everything else seems to work, at least at the present time.

Perform steps #1 thru #4 on this link to check for spyware and
viruses:

#2 may solve your problem.

Hi chaps,

I HAD the same problem... you might be glad to hear...

I cured it by looking in the hosts file
(C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts) opening it in
notepad I found that I had a lot of unknown addresses
there.

I then deleted every thing in there except

127.0.0.1 localhost

saved the file then set it as read only.

Then havn't had a problem since

Hope this helps
