About Add and Remove Program in Control Panel

Are the programs listed in the lineup of Add/Remove Programs found under
"Control Panel" actually what the words say? Microsoft Internet Explorer 7
Beta 3 is listed, but when I look under "Help," I see Internet Explorer 6.
I would prefer to see Internet Explorer 6 in all places on my computer.
Why? Because I was brave enough to download a Beta (7 beta 3), then went to
the "finished" IE7 only to find that HP products will not work with IE7,
like my HP Director. When I talked with HP, was told that it is not
"compatible with IE7.. SOOooo, I tried to uninstall the IE 7 and also the
original beta 3 of 7 .. Had to obtain an Uninstall Tool which required
ActiveX which my computer is not happy about installing. My computer acted
extremely SLOW with both IE 7's but is happy and fast once again. I am
wondering if I have a little bit of both ie6 and ie7. I have found it
IMPOSSIBLE to remove the IE7beta3 from being listed under Ad/Remove
Programs, using all the info found on the Microsoft site to help me. Should
I bother or care if there are no apparent problems?

Will this key delete the beta 7 3? or will it remove all IE's and then I try
to find IE 6 to download again?
